To ensure safety of participants and exhibitors in trade show exhibits, the organizers and the exhibitors will sign a safety agreement. Below is an example of such agreement.

SAFETY AGREEMENT

By virtue of agreement between the exhibitor and the organizers, the exhibitor commits themselves to strict compliance with Health and Safety guidelines pertaining to participation in this event. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure safe working practices and maintain good housekeeping in all work areas to minimize hazards.

SECURITY

While every reasonable precaution is taken, the organizers cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage which may befall the person or property of the exhibitor from any cause. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor that items of value are adequately supervised and not left unattended.

Insurance for the equipment, merchandize, furniture and marketing collaterals is the responsibility of the Exhibitor.

DELIVERY OF EXHIBITION MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT

Exhibitors must make their own arrangements for the transport, delivery and handling of exhibition equipment and materials where necessary, using the recommended, or other suitable contractors. Exhibitors are particularly asked to consider the need to have an adequate number of staff, and where necessary equipment, to assist in the lifting and carrying of materials so as not to create a risk of injury.

EXHIBITION OF SET-UP AND DISMANTLING

To limit the risk of accident and injury for booth exhibitors and event attendees, it is essential that the set-up and dismantling of the exhibition is conducted strictly within the perimeters of the schedules laid out in the timetable.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

The Event Organizers and its appointed contractor reserve the right to refuse connection and/or disallow the installation of any display or electrical device and/or remove such displays or device which falls to conform to safety standards.

STABILITY OF EXHIBITS AND EXHIBITION MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT

It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to ensure that any exhibit materials or merchandize displayed must be stable and adequately secured as necessary to avoid posing a risk/accident to those in the vicinity.

As proof that both the organizers and exhibitors agree to the items above, the document will be signed by both parties.
